Session
Bridging Continents: Europe–Asia Cooperation
Date- June 25 (Thu.)
Time- 20:30 ~ 21:50
Organization- Jeju Peace Institute
Room- Grand Ballroom C
Subject- Diplomacy / Security
In an era of deepening geopolitical fragmentation and shifting geoeconomic dynamics, Eurasia has emerged as an increasingly important region linking Europe and Asia. Stretching across key economic corridors, energy routes, and strategic interests, the region holds significant potential for shaping the future of global cooperation. Yet, despite its growing importance, international attention to Eurasia as a coherent framework for collaboration has remained limited.
In this context, non-governmental initiatives have begun to play a critical role in bringing renewed focus to Eurasia. This session will examine how Eurasia can serve as a bridge between Europe and Asia, and how cross-continental collaboration can contribute to rebuilding trust and fostering cooperation in an increasingly fragmented world.
