LEE Jae Jung is a Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, representing Dongan-gu 2nd District in Anyang City in the 21st and 22nd National Assembly since May 2020. She previously served as a proportional representation member of the 20th National Assembly. She currently serves on the National Assembly Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee and holds several key positions within the Democratic Party of Korea, including Chairperson of the Dongan-gu 2nd District of Anyang City Chapter, Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee, and Senior Deputy Chair of the Foreign Affairs, Security, and Unification Advisory Council. She also chairs the National Assembly Global Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Forum. Her previous leadership roles include Chairperson of the National Assembly Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs, and Startups Committee, Vice Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee, and Acting Chairperson of the same committee.
