• Among the various attempts that mankind has made to maintain world peace, the Olympic movement and sports exchanges have made a very successful history. Since ancient times, the Olympics has pursued the purpose of peace for the co-prosperity of mankind, and in the 1980s, the Olympic movement and various sports exchanges have successfully played an intangible role in thawing the East-West Cold War and resolving rigid international relations.
• By re-examining the historical footprints of maintaining peace through the Olympic movement and sports exchanges, such as the IOC's pursuit of the value of the Olympic movement and its role in international relations, the search for the possibility of maintaining peace for mankind through international sports exchanges, and the case of maintaining peace on the Korean Peninsula through inter-Korean sports exchanges, we intend to draw implications for solving the current task of enhancing the common value of human peace.
