Dr. LEE Inyup is an assistant professor in the Department of Sport Sciences at Jeju National University, specializing in the sports industry and consumer behavior. His research explores how professional sports shape public engagement and regional development, with recent work expanding into cultural exchange through sports. In particular, he has examined how sports contribute to mutual understanding between U.S. Forces Korea and local communities. At Jeju Forum, he will join the session on sports diplomacy to share insights into how the Olympic movement and international sports initiatives help foster shared values and peace across borders.
