Though human forms an inseparable relationship with animals, society has not addressed animal welfare problems seriously until now. In particular, there still exists a lot of animal maltreatment in the animal industry, such as factory farming and animal circuses. Hereat, this session aims to discuss the current status of animal welfare problems centered around animal production and animal exhibition. Through the discussion, We, as team ‘Ani-Body’, would like to present “Sustainable Co-Existence between Animals and Humans” as the ideal value that future generations have to pursue. Added to this, we would like to expand the meaning of co-existence and peace into a meaning that includes all living creatures on earth, not only humans.
