The global order is increasingly shaped by intensifying strategic competition, geopolitical fragmentation, and growing uncertainty. Relations among major powers are becoming more complex, with competition extending beyond security into economic, technological, and normative domains. In an era of fragmentation, the key challenge is no longer simply sustaining cooperation, but reinventing it under new geopolitical realities. This calls for rethinking how states can manage strategic competition while identifying pragmatic pathways for collaboration.
As a platform committed to peace and multilateral dialogue, the Jeju Forum provides a timely venue for candid and forward-looking discussions among key ambassadors to the Republic of Korea. In doing so, this session seeks to foster a deeper understanding of the changing international landscape and explore possibilities for constructive dialogue and practical cooperation amid growing global uncertainty.
