Meaningful and objective analysis of North Korea to deal with pressing issues on the Korean Peninsula has been highly emphasized for a long time. Sharing views and gathering experiences of negotiation and engagement with North Korea will be a cornerstone to overcoming prejudice and promoting an objective understanding of North Korea, which will eventually contribute to supporting building peace on the Korean Peninsula.
This session will examine linking contextual intelligence to policy toward North Korea, the dynamics of power politics in North Korea, and the possibility of the survival of the Kim Jong Un Regime. Speakers will also discuss the North Korean Economy and its puzzles and clues, as well as new cultural trends and actors in North Korean society.
