Direction of the City's Global Branding Policy for Globalization

South Korea is a experiencing a population decline more rapidly than any other country in the world, as shown by the dismal indicators of a total fertility rate of 0.78 and a population growth rate of -0.14% as of last year. There are even concerns being raised that if this trend continues, it will not only lead to the 'extinction of the provinces' but also the 'extinction of the Republic of Korea.' The frighteningly worsening low birth rate, combined with aging will form an inverted population pyramid and become a trigger that will destroy the labor market, which is the backbone of economic growth. The various problems that result from this may lead to a vicious cycle that destroys social order and infrastructure. We may lead to a vicious cycle that destroys social order and infrastructure. We hope to find a way to overcome this crisis through urban globalization.
