As we commence the year 2023, multiple global crises continue to threaten peace. The pandemic, the Russo-Ukraine War, and the US-China strategic competition have resulted in the reconfiguration of diplomatic ties, international trade, and global supply chains, giving rise to a new normal. Specifically, in the current era of economic security, a new form of international political and economic governance is taking shape, which is distinct from the past era of US-China engagement under the Washington Consensus. Against this backdrop, the Jeju Peace Institute's research department aims to enhance and propose thed measures of global economic risk and resilience, building upon the ideas presented in the previous Jeju Forums.
