China, Japan, and the ROK face a unique opportunity to hold the Olympics and Paralympics consecutively in the three countries in Pyeongchang in 2018, Tokyo in 2020, and Beijing in 2022. Looking back at the Pyeongchang Olympics, this session will discuss collaborative efforts between the three countries for the successful hosting of the other two Olympics. The session will analyze the economic impact of the previous Olympic Games and discuss the various aspects in which the governments, businesses, and academia of the three countries could cooperate. An Olympic athlete will also participate in the discussion to share her/his personal view on the experience during the Olympic games.
