In 2023, Korea and the European will commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations. The newly inaugurated Yoon Suk-yeol administration of Korea published 110 Key policy agendas which include ‘co-prosperous regional network building’,‘proactive economic security diplomacy’and ‘strengthening role of Korea as Global Pivot State’. Against the backdrop of increasing nation-state-centrism and bloc realignment based on interests, we believe that it is all the more important to enhance strategic cooperation with like-minded partners such as EU. In this session, representatives from both public sector, academia and NGOs will gather together to discuss how to explore co-existence and further promote cooperation beyond conflict.
