In recent years, there has been a vast change in the international affairs. Strategic confrontation between the United States and China, Russia's attempts to expand its influence, and the unpredictability of the prospects for the Iran nuclear deal have heightened global insecurity. Furthermore, the recent crisis in Ukraine has begun to show signs of a change in the traditional diplomatic lines of Middle Eastern countries.
On the other hand, Arab countries have built a solid foundation for modernization based on oil resources, and are also boldly pushing forward with industry diversification and modernization to face the future. With such a background, the Arab ambassador roundtable was organized. The Arab ambassador to Korea, former Korean ambassador to the Arab world and the ambassador from a third country who formerly worked in the Arab world assembled to analyze the direction of foreign policy in the Middle East and the Arab world and to seek strategic cooperation between Korea and the Arab world for the next 10 years.
