LEE Nanyoung currently serves as the Director General for International Education Planning at the Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea. An accomplished expert in education policy and administration, she has held several pivotal leadership roles, including Director General of the Education Safety and Information Bureau, Secretary to the President for Education, President of the National Institute of Special Education, and Secretary General of the National Education Commission. Throughout her distinguished career, she has also served as the Director General for Social Policy Cooperation at the Ministry of Education and as the Director General for Education, Culture, and Women’s Policy at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, where she was responsible for navigating complex, cross-ministerial education and social policies.
