I graduated from the Department of Chemistry at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) and later majored in Political Science and International Relations in graduate school. During my Master’s program, I worked at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) through the Korea Foundation (KF) Global Challengers Program. Since late 2017, I have been working in the Strategic Planning Division of the Center for Military Analysis and Planning at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses (KIDA). The Strategic Planning Division conducts research on military strategy, military structure, operational concepts, and future warfare. I am currently participating in research related to nuclear issues, space, and full-scale war.
