Dr. MYOUNG Hannah is a Climate Risk Team Lead of the NEXT group specializing in the scientific and quantitative assessment of physical risks associated with climate change, with strong expertise in Atmospheric Sciences and extensive interdisciplinary research experience across drought, wildfire, and agricultural productivity. In particular, she develops and applies systematic climate risk models that incorporate the physical mechanisms and statistical characteristics of major climate hazards—including typhoons, floods, heatwaves, wildfires, and landslides—to support integrated risk management and policy decision-making that account for the broader socio-economic impacts of climate-related disasters.
