Biography

KIM Soo Hyeon is an energy economist focusing on global energy markets and the energy transition. She holds a Ph.D. in Global Environmental Economics from Seoul National University and is currently a Visiting Associate Professor at the Energy New Industry Innovation Convergence University Program at Seoul National University. She previously worked at the Korea Energy Economics Institute and Doosan Business Research Institute, analyzing energy policy and corporate strategy across hydrogen, renewables, carbon regulation, green finance, and energy market outlooks. Her recent work examines how energy security is expanding beyond fuel supply to include power systems, supply chains, industrial competitiveness, and investment conditions.
