The international order is currently facing a transformative period of instability, characterized by intensifying challenges stemming from major powers’ strategic competition and wide-ranging uncertainties. Against this backdrop, fostering enhanced engagement among like-minded partners across the Indo-Pacific and Europe has become more critical than ever, as both regions actively seek to broaden their strategic horizons and deepen partnerships in response to shared challenges. In this context, this session aims to underscore this imperative and explore concrete avenues for strengthened cooperation. Furthermore, it will also provide the participants with valuable opportunities to share their views on inter-regional cooperation for peace and security.
