Dr. Youngeal, LEE obtained all of his degrees in Nuclear Engineering, most recently his Ph.D. from KAIST in 2001. Dr. LEE worked at the Korea Electric Power Research Institute (KEPRI) from 1996 to 2009 and she has ample research experiences regarding to the nuclear energy policy. She moved to the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety in 2010 and has served various positions at KINS, contributing to the promotion and strengthening of nuclear safety regulation. She worked for the nuclear safety regulatory policy and project management of Wolsung Nuclear Power Plant. Subsequently, Dr. LEE has taken the role as Manager of International Cooperation Department since 2015. From 2014, she has been the member of the board of trustees of Korean Nuclear Society(KNS). At the international level, Dr. LEE was a member of the Global Nuclear Safety and Security Network (GNSSN) Steering Committee affiliated to the IAEA from 2015.

이영일박사는 학사, 석사, 박사 모두 원자력공학을 전공하였으며, 2001년 KAIST 원자력공학 박사학위를 취득하였다. 1996년부터 2009년까지 한전전력연구원(KEPRI)에서 원자력에너지정책 연구를 담당하였다. 2010년 원자력안전기술원(KINS)으로 옮겨서 원자력안전규제정책을 담당하고 월성 가동원전 심사에 참여하였다. 2015년부터 현재까지 국제협력팀장으로 근무중이고 2014년부터 원자력학회 평의원, 2015년부터 IAEA의 글로벌원자력안전안보네트워크(GNSSN) 운영위원으로 활동 중이다.
