약력
Ge Zhaoguang was born in 1950 in Shanghai. He received his BA and MA in Peking University in 1982 and 1984. He started teaching in the Department of History at Yangzhou Normal College in Jiangsu. From 1992 to 2006, he is as a Professor in the Department of History of Tsinghua University. Since 2007, he has been Director and University’s Distinguished Professor of National Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies at Fudan University in Shanghai.
From 1990s , he has also been invited as visiting Professor in Asia, North America and Europe, including City University of Hong Kong, National Taiwan University, Kyoto University in Japan, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, Princeton University and Harvard University in US. He alsoed as first Princeton Global Scholar in 2009.
