약력
데이비드 강(David C. Kang)은 미국 서던캘리포니아대학교(University of Southern California)의 국제관계 및 경영학 분야 마리아 크러처 석좌교수(Maria Crutcher Professor)로, 국제관계학과(School of International Relations)와 마샬 경영대학(Marshall School of Business) 양쪽에 소속되어 있다. 강 교수는 또한 USC 한국학연구소(Korean Studies Institute)의 소장이기도 하다.
그의 최신 저서는 『21세기 미국의 대전략과 동아시아 안보(American Grand Strategy and East Asian Security in the 21st Century)』(Cambridge University Press, 2017)이다. 그는 이 외에도 네 권의 저서를 출간하였으며, 『International Organization』, 『International Studies Quarterly』, 『Journal of Conflict Resolution』, 『International Security』 등 권위 있는 학술지에 다수의 논문을 발표하였다.
