Ki-Jeong Song is currently a professor in French Literature at the Ewha Womans University. She earned her Master's and Ph.D at University of Paris III, and a Bachelor's degree at the Ewha Womans University in Seoul, where she was born. She is the author of , , (co-author), and (co-author) and other books. The French literature that she translated to Korean include by Balzac, by Balzac, by Colette, and by Le Clézio. She is also the chair of the Korean Association of the French Literature.

송기정은 서울 출생으로 이화여자대학교를 졸업하고 파리3대학에서 석•박사학위를 취득한 후 현재 이화여자대학교 불문과 교수로 재직 중이다. 파리제3대학과 파리동대학의 초청교수를 역임했다. 저서로는 <광기, 본성인가 마성인가>, <스크린 위의 소설들>, <신화적 상상력과 문화>(공저), <역사의 글쓰기>(공저) 등이 있으며, 역서로는 발자크의 <루이 랑베르>, <13인당 이야기>, 콜레트의 <여명>, 르 클레지오의 <폭풍우>, <빛나-서울 하늘 아래> 등이 있다. 현재 한국불어불문학회장을 역임하고 있다.
