약력
Ambassador Rhee, Soo-taek is a retired career diplomat of the Republic of Korea and since May 2011 he has joined the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Currently he is in charge of UNIDO Investment and Technology Transfer Promotion Office (ITPO) in Seoul. Before the current post, he served as an Ambassador in charge of Asia and the Pacific Studies at IFANS, MOFAT and also served as the President of the National Institute for International Education in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
He served in various foreign posts including Consul-General in Montreal, Canada, concurrently he was the Ambassador to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Minister for Political Affairs of the Korean Embassy in the Netherlands, Political Counsellor in the Korean Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. He served in the headquarters in Seoul as Director-General for Disarmament and Non-proliferation Issues, Director for Inter-Korean Policy Affairs in the Policy Planning Office of MOFAT. He also served as secretary to the President for policy planning matters in the Presidential Office.
