Currently a Research Manager at Google Cloud AI since 2018, Sercan has spearheaded research and development in enterprise AI, managing scientists and engineers on large-scale projects. His work has resulted in over 50 papers and patents, in various areas including LLM training, multi-modal learning, multi-agent systems, test-time computation, explainability, usability, deep learning for tabular and time-series data, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning. Their innovations have been integrated into numerous Google Cloud products, adopted by hundreds of companies. He has also played a crucial role in hiring top AI talent and fostering academic collaborations.
