Tai Hyun Park is Professor at the School of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Seoul National University. He is also President of Advanced Institutes of Convergence Technology (AICT). He received his BS, MS, and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University, KAIST, and Purdue University, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of California, Irvine. He was Director of Bio-MAX Institute, Director of Institute of Bioengineering, and Founding Chair of Engineering Biotechnology Program at Seoul National University. He has published about 200 papers, 15 books, 11 book chapters, and 40 patents. He is currently Executive board member of the AFOB (Asian Federation of Biotechnology), Member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea, Editor and editorial board member of several journals. His research interests include olfactory biosensors, cellular engineering, and nanobiotechnology.
