약력
Dr. Woo-Taek Hong is a Research Fellow of Unification Policy Studies Division at the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Political Science and Economics from Claremont Graduate University. Dr. Hong’s main research areas are Theory of War, Nuclear Deterrence, Game Theory, and Strategy Analysis. His publications include “Analysis on the National Character of North Korea and Verification of the Nuclear Strategy by Means of Simulation Analysis” (2016), “Analysis of the Utility and Means of North Korea Policy Strategies Focus on Iran’s Experience and Economic Sanctions” (2016), and “Prospects for Xi Jinping Leadership’s Policies on the Korean Peninsula and South Korea’s Countermeasures: Scenario Analysis Using the Policy Decision-Making Model” (2014).
홍우택 통일연구원 통일정책연구실 연구위원은 미국 클레어몬트대학교에서 정치학 및 경제학 박사학위를 취득하였으며, 주요 연구영역은 전쟁이론, 핵 억지, 게임이론, 전략분석 분야이다. 주요 저서로는 “북한의 국가성향 분석과 모의 분석을 통한 핵전략 검증” (2016), 『대북정책전략 수단 효용성 분석: 이란의 경험과 경제제재를 중심으로』 (2016), 『중국 시진핑 지도부의 한반도정책 전망과 대응방안: 정책결정 모델을 통한 시나리오 분석』 (2015) 등이 있다.
