약력
강순원은 1962년 9월 16일 제주에서 출생했다. 대학졸업 후 언론사 기자로 사회생활을 시작했으며, 제주특별자치도에서 홍보업무를 담당하기도 했다. 이 기간 제주의 발전전략과 관련하여 몬드라곤협동조합 모델 도입에 관심을 가지기 시작하였고, 한국에 생활협동조합법이 제정된 직후 1999년 제주생활협동조합 창립에 실무적으로 참여하면서 본격적인 모색을 시작하였다.
이후 2012년부터는 한살림제주소비자생활협동조합 상무이사와 전무이사를 맡아 경영을 책임지고 있으며, 최근에는 한살림의 존재이유와 지역혁신에 대한 것으로 관심과 활동을 넓히고 있다.
Kang was born in Jeju on September 16, 1962. After graduating from university, he started his career as a journalist for a media company and was also in charge of public relations work in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. During this period, he began to be interested in introducing the Mondragon cooperative model in relation to Jeju's development strategy, and immediately after the enactment of the Living Cooperative Law in Korea, he began to explore it in earnest by participating in the establishment of Jeju Living Cooperative in 1999.
Since 2012, he has been in charge of management as the managing director and managing director of Hansalim Jeju Consumer Life Cooperative, and recently he has expanded his interest and activities to the raison d'être of Hansalim and local innovation.
