자가난스 판다 박사는 스웨덴 소재 안보개발정책연구소(ISDP)의 스톡홀름 남아시아-인도태평양센터(SCSA-IPA) 센터장이다. 또한 네덜란드 헤이그전략연구소(HCSS) 선임연구원 및 일본 YCAPS 유라시아 연구협력 디렉터를 맡고 있다. 판다 박사는 미 의회 미-중 경제안보검토위원회에서 증언한 바 있다. 인도-태평양 및 중국 전문가인 판다 박사는 루틀릿지 출판시리즈를 이끌고 있으며 Routledge Studies on Think Asia 시리즈 편집장을 맡고 있다. 그의 저술로는 India-China Relations (Routledge: 2017) 과 China’s Path to Power: Party, Military and the Politics of State Transition (Pentagon Press: 2010) 등이 있다. 판다 박사의 최근 편저로는 Chinese Politics and Foreign Policy under Xi Jinping (공저), Quad Plus and Indo-Pacific (Routledge: 2021); Scaling India-Japan Cooperation in Indo-Pacific and Beyond 2025 (KW Publishing Ltd. 2019), The Korean Peninsula and Indo-Pacific Power Politics: Status Security at Stake (Routledge, 2020); The Future of Korean Peninsula: Korea 2032 and Beyond (Routledge, 2021)(공저) 등이 있다.
