Yong WANG is Professor at School of International Studies, and the Director of the Center for International Political Economy, Peking University, China. He is also Professor at Party School of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Global Trade and FDI, and member of Think20.
Yong Wang received his B.A.(1987), M.A.(1990), and PhD(1996) from Peking University. He joined the faculty of Peking University School of International Studies in 1990.
He has published numerous papers and book chapters in Chinese, English, Japanese and Spanish, on the topics of Chinese political economy, foreign policy, China-US relations, regional cooperation, international political economy, World Trade Organization (WTO) and global governance. His authored books include the Political Economy of International Trade (2008) and the Political Economy of China-U.S. Trade Relations (2007), and the edited volumes include International Political Economy in China and China(co-edited with Greg Chin and Margaret Pearson, 2015).
His opinion or comments has appeared in medias such as CNN, BBC, New York Times, Financial Times, China Central Television Station（CCTV）and so on. He was a speaker at Think20 meetings under the Russian, Australian and Turkish G20 presidency.
