약력
피에르 루이지 사코 박사는 키에티-페스카라 대학교 경제학과 교수이자, 하버드 대학교 META LAB의 수석 연구원이며, 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 수석 자문관이다. 또한 그는 EU 교육 문화 위원회(EU Commissioner to Education, Culture)의 특별 자문관으로 활용하였고, 이탈리아 문화부 문화경제기술위원회 위원으로 활동하였다.
그는 전 세계 걸쳐 주요 대학 강연 뿐 만 아니라 문화 주도적 지역 문화 발전 분야의 컨설팅을 진행하고 있다. 지금도 그는 왜 인간에게 문화가 아주 중요할까 라는 근본적인 질문을 갖고 지금도 왕성하게 다양한 문화 연구와 활동을 이어가고 있다.
Dr. Pier Luigi Sacco is a professor of Economics at the University of Chietti-Pescara, a senior researcher at META LAB at Harvard University, and a senior advisor to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). He also served as a special advisor to the EU Commissioner to Education, Culture, and as a member of the Cultural Economy and Technology Committee of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
In addition to lectures at major universities around the world, he consults in the fields of culture-driven regional development. Even now, he actively continues to practice various cultural studies and activities with the fundamental question of why culture is so important to humans.
