Sunil Rasaily is a founding partner of QED Group, established in 2012 in Thimphu, Bhutan, to pursue evidence-based research and advocate alternate solutions to topical issues through its consulting arm and think tank. Its mission is to build a network of change agents and create a positive impact on society.
QED’s major areas of work include research and consulting in the areas of economy, society, public policy, business and management. Through opinion pieces, presentations and briefings to political, policy and business leaders as well as working closely with the academia and university students, QED contributes to the national conversation on issues such as monetary and fiscal policy, energy policy and socio-economic development. QED also organises three public discourse platforms - the Bhutan Development Forum, The Brown Bag Seminar and the Visiting Speakers Series.
He is also the Managing Partner of Metho Dewa Consultancy Services and the General Manager of Investments at RSA Private Limited.
He was the Head of Corporate Planning and Business Development at Bhutan Power Corporation, an electricity transmission and distribution company and worked there for over 11 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
