Yoon Shin is the founder and CEO of Perigee Aerospace Inc. Founded in 2018, Perigee is an emerging startup located in Daejeon to develop the world’s smallest launch vehicle ever built. Yoon named this vehicle “Blue Whale 1” With Blue Whale, Perigee aims to provide satellite developers worldwide with the most affordable ride to earth orbit ever. Today, Perigee is working closely with Jeju municipal government to build Korea’s first private spaceport. When fully constructed, the Jeju spaceport is going to provide not only the lowest cost launch service but also new hopes and opportunities for our children and many future generations.
