약력
강문수는 대외경제정책연구원에서 아프리카중동팀 팀장으로 재직하고 있다. 캔자스주립대에서 농업경제학 박사학위를 받았으며 서울대학교와 한동대학교를 졸업하였다. 연구 주제는 아프리카 농업 개발, 기후변화, 그리고 노동 시간 분배 및 양성 평등과 관련된 연구를 포함한다. 최근에는 중국의 대아프리카 및 중남미 경제협력에 따른 영향, 기후변화에 따른 아프리카 농업생산성 및 분쟁 영향, 에티오피아와 말라위에서 토지 소유권에 따른 남녀간 노동 시간 분배에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. 또한 현재는 기후변화에 따른 아프리카 농산물 가격 변화에 대한 연구와 동아프리카 그린 에너지 도입에 따른 교육효과에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있다.
Munsu Kang is a research fellow and head of Africa and Middle east team at the Korea Institute for International economic policy. His research focus areas cover agricultural development, climate change, and household labor in African countries. Recent studies include Chinese economic cooperation and economic effects in Africa, impacts of climate change on agricultural productivity and conflicts in Africa, and effects of land tenure security on intra-household labor allocation in Ethiopia and Malawi. Munsu’s current studies are impacts of climate change on commodity prices and impacts of solar energy projects on educational attainment. He received his Ph.D. in agricultural economics at Kansas State University.
