Miklós cut his teeth on Asian affairs during stints at the Austrian Embassy and the European Delegation in Bangkok. Since 2012 he serves as the Regional Project Coordinator for Southeast and East Asia of the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation for Freedom, a German liberal think tank that promotes political and economic freedom as well as the rule of law in more than 60 countries worldwide. Miklós is one of the authors of the Freedom Barometer, an annual publication that assesses the state of freedom and democracy ined Asian and European countries.
