Mr. Shingo Fukuyama joined Osaka City Government in 1970 and became active in its trade, Osaka-City Officers and to be the leadership of the. In 1992, he was appointed to Central Committee member of “All Japan Prefectural and Municipal Workers” (JICHIRO) and became its Secretary General. In 2002, he joined “Forum for Peace, Human Rights and Environment” and became secretary general of it and currently he is its chairperson.

In 2015, in defense of peace and democracy, “Forum for Peace” had an indispensable role to strengthen citizen movement against Abe government which violated Constitution of Japan and rule of law, steamrolling “War bill”.
