Kyle Ferrier is a Fellow and Director of Academic Affairs at the Korea Economic Institute of America (KEI), where he manages KEI’s efforts to foster collaboration between the academic and policy communities. He writes on U.S.-Korea relations, South Korean foreign affairs, South Korean domestic and international economic policy, and the political economy of the Indo-Pacific. Kyle’s work and commentary have been featured in numerous media outlets, including Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal, and he is a regular contributor to KEI’s blog, The Peninsula, and the Koreas section of The Diplomat. Before joining KEI, Kyle worked for the Bank of New York Mellon and was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in South Korea. He holds a Master of Science in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
