약력
Yeonhee Park has been working in the field of Sustainable development based on partnership between local governments and stakeholders for local sustainability since 2001. Since joining ICLEI Korea Office as the Director in 2012, she has been making efforts to accelerate local actions toward global sustainability by introducing global initiatives and tools on sustainable urban development to South Korea focusing on Climate change, biodiversity, and ecomobility.
She also serves as a policy committee member of the Ministry of Environment, provincial and local governments, and international cooperation committee at Korea Climate Environment Conference while supporting national & local collaboration. By successfully delivering a range of international conferences & events with quality supervision, she has been striving for highlighting the critical roles of local governments and delivering the voices of local governments to the global negotiation table for sustainable development.
이클레이 한국사무소 박연희 소장은 2001년부터 도시 지속가능발전 현장에서 지방정부와 이해당사자간 파트너 십에 기초한 국내외 협력 사업을을 주관하였다. 2012년 이클레이 한국사무소 소장으로 취임한 이후 기후변화, 생물다양성, 생태교통 등 주요 이슈를 중심으로 지속가능한 도시 만들기를 위한 국제적 프로그램과 정책을 국내에 소개하여 글로벌 지속가능성과 연계된 지역 실천을 강화하는 일에 주력해 왔다.
환경부, 국가기후환경회의, 광역과 기초 지방정부 등의 정책위원회 위원으로 참여하면서 국가와 지방정부간 연계 강화를 위한 노력을 지원하고, 지속가능발전 관련 국제회의와 행사를 주관하면서 지속가능발전 추진을 위한 지방정부 역할의 중요성을 알리고, 지방정부의 목소리를 글로벌 지속가능발전 정책 결정과정에 연계하는 역할을 수행하고 있다.
