Jeon In-gap is a professor in Dept. of history at Sogang University and director of the China Research Institute. His field of research is contemporary Chinese history. He has received his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from Dept. of Asian History in Seoul National University. He was a professor in Dept. of Chinese Studies and director of the Humanities Research Institute and head of the Humanities Korea research program at Incheon National University. While organically grasping China's long-term stability and turbulent nature, he has been conducting research to understand China's modern history in depth amid historical continuity. His major publications include “The Imperial Dreams of Contemporary China” (2016), “China, A New Paradigm”(co-author 2015), “The Confucius and State Building in the Twentieth Century China” and “Localism and Workers in Shanghai Society in the 20th Century.” He has published over 50 articles including “A Shift of State Building Paradigm and Nationalism.”(2020)

전인갑은 서강대학교 사학과 교수이며, 중국연구소 소장이다. 그는 중국현대사를 전공하며 서울대학교 동양사학과에서 학사, 석사, 박사 학위를 취득하였다. 그는 인천대학교 중국학과 교수와 인문학연구소 소장 및 인문한국사업단 단장을 역임하였다. 그는 중국의 장기 안정성과 격동성을 유기적으로 파악하는 한편 중국현대사를 역사적 연속성 속에서 심층적으로 이해하려는 연구를 진행해왔다. 그의 저서로는 “현대중국의 제국몽: 중화의 재보편화 100년의 실험”(2016), “20세기 전반기 상해사회의 지역주의와 노동자”, “공자, 현대중국을 가로지르다”, “중국, 새로운 패러다임”(공저) 등이 있으며, “국가건설 패러다임의 전환과 민족주의” 등 50여 편의 논문이 있다.
