Haiming Xing was born in Tianjin, China in November, 1964 and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1986. Ambassador Xing has worked multiple times in the Embassy of China in the ROK and the Embassy of China in the DPRK. He has continued his career as the Deputy Chief of Missions of the Embassy of China in the DPRK and the ROK, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Asian countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the Embassy of Mongolia. Haiming Xing has been assigned as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the Embassy of the ROK in January, 2020. Ambassador Xing is known for his title ‘Expert on the Korean Peninsula’ for being fluent in Korean and his long-term contribution to diplomatic work in the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia.

싱하이밍은 1964년 11월 중국 티엔진시 출생으로 1986년에 외교부에 입부하였다. 싱하이밍 대사는 주한중국대사관, 주조선중국대사관에서 여러번 근무하였고 주조선중국대사관 공관차석, 주한중국대사관 공관차석, 외교부 아시아국 부국장, 주몽골특명전권대사를 역임하였다. 2020년 1월부터 주한국특명전권대사로 부임하였다. 싱 대사는 한국어를 능통하며 한반도 및 동북아 관련 외교 업무를 장기적으로 담당해왔으므로 ‘한반도통’이라는 별명을 받았다.
