The year 2012 in East Asia will see significant change with the emergence of new leaders and political change. Leadership shifts will be gradual in China and North Korea, and new leaders will be elected through presidential elections in South Korea, Russia, and the
U.S. In this session, foreign correspondents in South Korea will give their opinions about which changes will be made based on the leadership and power shifts.

- Interpreting the political shifts in East Asia.

동아시아 각국의 정치 일정과 국내적 상황을 보면 2012년에는 새로운 지도자들의 등장 등 많은 권력변동이 있을 것으로 예상됩니다. 중국과 북한은 지도자 교체가 점진적으로 이루어 질 것이며, 한국, 미국, 러시아에서는 대통령 선거 등으로 새로운 지도자들이 등장할 가능성도 예상되고 있습니다. 이러한 주요국의 지도자 교체와 권력변동은 아시아 태평양지역에 어떠한 변화를 가져올 것인지 매일 매일의 정세 변화를 주시하고 있는 주한 외신기자들로부터 전망을 들어 봅니다.
