The Global Green Growth Institute is founded on the belief that economic growth and environmental sustainability are not merely compatible objectives; their integration is essential for the future of humankind. In order to realize green growth in such context, international cooperation plays important function. In this event, GGGI and other discussants will discuss the opportunities of green growth and what could be the new model on international cooperation for green growth.

글로벌녹색성장연구소(GGGI)는 “녹색성장(지속가능하고 기후변화 대응에 용이한 저탄소 경제발전)” 추진을 목적으로 ‘경제성장’과 ‘지속가능한 환경’이 양립 가능할 뿐만 아니라 인류의 미래에 공통적으로 필요한 요소라는 신념 아래 설립되었습니다. 이러한 관점에서, 녹색성장을 실현하기 위해서는 국제협력이 매우 필수적인 요소가 아닐 수 없습니다. 본 세션에서는 글로벌 녹색성장연구소 참석자가 패널과 함께 녹색성장 추진 방안 및 기회를 논의하고, 녹색성장을 위한 국제협력 모델을 구상합니다.
