Nowadays, Asian Countries are experiencing environmental pollution, disturbance in natural ecosystem, and ecocide due to the rapid economic growth and industrialization. In this respect, we would like to talk about the ways of improving cooperation among Asian countries to resolve environmental and social problems through economic growth considering environment in connection with the UN ’s Sustainable Development Goals and the Asia initiative as a means of a development plan which fulfills the needs of future generation without damaging the potential power of growth.
최근 아시아 국가들은 급속한 경제성장과 산업화로 인해 환경 오염, 생태계 교란 및 파괴 등의 위기를 겪고 있습니다. 환경을 고려한 경제성장, 경제성장을 통한 환경 및 사회문제 해결을 위한 국가간 협력 방안과 UN의 지속가능발전목표(SDGs), 아시아 이니셔티브에 대한 토론을 통해 미래세대의 필요를 충족시키기 위한 잠재력을 훼손하지 않으면서 현재의 필요를 충족시키는 발전 방안에 대한 깊이 있는 대화를 나눌 수 있는 자리를 마련하고자 합니다.
