Borders between countries are being removed and competition among companies becoming more fierce with the rise of globalization. It is important for a company to develop new technology and strengthen its competitiveness, but it is also essential for it to effectively protect technology previously developed by investing substantial funds and effort. Industrial security, an important factor in corporate management, is more reliable and necessary than insurance as it strengthens a company’s foundation and ensures against future compromise. We will take a look at the flow and direction of domestic and overseas industrial security policies, and discuss the effects of the Personal Information Protection Act on corporate management.

세계화의 진전에 따라 국경의 장벽이 낮아지고 기업의 경쟁도 더욱 치열해 지고 있습니다. 기업이 새로운 기술을 개발하여 경쟁력을 강화하는 것도 중요한 과제임에 틀림없지만, 많은 비용과 노력을 투자하여 개발한 기술을 효과적으로 지키고 방어하는 것도 중요한 과제라 할 수 있습니다. 기업경영의 중요 요소의 하나로 부각되고 있는 산업보안은 기업의 존립기반을 강화하고 만약의 사태에 대비한다는 점에서 보험보다 더 확실하고 필수적인 요소라 할 수 있습니다. 국내외 산업보안 정책의 흐름과 방향을 살펴보고, “개인정보보호법”이 기업경영에 미치는 영향에 대해 토론합니다.
