At this session, a number of presentations and debates will be held to seek ways to energize the MICE industry and promote cultural exchange and tourism in the Asia-Pacific region. The program will focus on 1) ways to expand mutual cultural exchange in the Asia-Pacific region, 2) the status and challenges of the MICE industry in the Asia-Pacific region, 3) the status of the South Korean event industry and methods for development, 4) the creation of cultural tourism sites on Jeju Island using Namiseom Island as a case study, 5) strategies for developing the exhibition industry in the Jeju region, and 6) a study of the pursuit of value by cultural tourists that focuses on entertainment tourism in the Jeju region.
이번 세션에서는 아태 지역간 고유문화 교류촉진 및 MICE산업 활성화 방안을 강구하기 위하여 아태지역 상호간 문화 교류 확대방안, 아태지역 MICE산업의 현황과 과제, 한국 이벤트산업의 현황과 발전방안, 남이섬 개발사례를 중심으로 한 제주형 문화관광지의 조성방안, 제주지역 전시산업 발전전략, 제주지역 엔터테인먼트 관광을 중심으로 한 문화관광지의 가치추구에 관한 연구 등을 중심으로 하여 발표와 토론회를 가짐으로써 우리의 고유문화가 세계무대로 진출하는 계기를 조성하고 동시에 제주 MICE산업의 경쟁력을 강화시키는 계기를 제공할 것입니다.
