Biography

He is widely recognized as a leading scholar who has pioneered new paradigms in marketing and emerging trends in business. As a senior industry and business expert, he continues to champion positive identities for seniors and promote their productive roles in society. He also established the Asia Pacific International for International Education (APAIE), cultivating it into one of the world’s three major international higher education associations. In pursuit of fostering a culture of entrepreneurship that commands genuine respect, he conceived and proclaimed the idea of the “Capital of Entrepreneurship in the Republic of Korea.” He currently serves as an Emeritus Professor at Korea University Business School, an Honorary Professor at Renmin University of China, and the Chief Executive Officer of a company for seniors. He has made significant contributions to business, government, and society, having previously served as Chair of the Planning Subcommittee of the Presidential Council on Nation Branding, Chair of the Next-Generation Subcommittee of the Korea-Russia Dialogue, Chair of the Korean Council for Business Schools and Graduate Schools, and President of the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration. To date, he has authored 12 books and published over 90 research papers and case studies.
