HA Taeyouk was a seasoned career diplomat who had joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1987 and had served as Director of Russia-CIS division, Senior officer in Presidential Office and NSC, Director-General of European Affairs of MOFA. He was also assigned to Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of Sweden, respectively. He is currently focusing on development of the framework and legal basis as well as on the promotion of Korea’s local diplomacy.
