Chairman KIM Jinpyo is a former economic official who served as Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. He held key positions as Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Deputy Prime Minister for Education, and was elected to the National Assembly for five consecutive terms. He also served as Chair of the State Affairs Planning Advisory Committee under the Moon Jae-in administration. After completing his tenure as the 21st Speaker of the National Assembly, he retired from politics in May 2024. Subsequently, he founded the Global Innovation Institute, dedicated to advancing economic cooperation with international partners, developing policy solutions to societal challenges such as the low birthrate, and implementing assistance initiatives for developing countries.
