Born in Jeju KIM Chang Ki currently serves as the President of the Saemaul Association of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. He has dedicated his career to the development and promotion of Korea’s grassroots community movement, the Saemaul Undong. His leadership journey began as the 14th and 15th President of the Saemaul Workers and Industrial Movement Council of Jeju City, serving from September 15, 2006, to January 21, 2013. He later served as the 13th and 14th President of the Jeju City Saemaul Association from February 12, 2015, to February 5, 2021. Known for his integrity, meticulous approach to planning, and strong leadership, he has played a key role in revitalizing community engagement and sustainable development efforts throughout the Jeju region. Alongside his civic contributions, he is also the CEO of Halla Industry, where he has led numerous initiatives aligned with community welfare and regional development. As President of the Jeju Saemaul Association, he continues to promote the values of self-help, cooperation, and diligence both locally and globally.
