Korea's economic status has improved through rapid growth, and in 2009, it changed from an ODA recipient country to a donor country. In addition, ODA projects are becoming increasingly important as a means of strengthening international cooperation in international diplomacy. Jejud 2012 as the 'first year of international development cooperation' and began to implement official development assistance projects in earnest. Since then, it has been steadily providing aid to developing countries such as East Timor, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Jeju started with simple material aid in the early days, and is currently trying to spread and disseminate Jeju's advanced culture, policies, and other values. In particular, it aims to promote global common prosperity by spreading Jeju's advanced waste disposal system and Saemaul Movement. Therefore, the Jeju Forum session was organized to explore ways to spread Jeju's values ​​to the world through ODA projects.
