· Born on 21st October 1963, in Marrakech, Morocco.
· 1989-2002, he chaired an industrial company.
· October 13th, 2016, H.E. Chafik RACHADI was accredited by His Majesty the King of Morocco as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Korea.
· 2002-2016, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for 3 consecutive terms, and served as a Vice Speaker of the Moroccan Parliament.
· During his parliamentary mandate, he chaired several projects and partnerships between the Parliament and international organizations, such as the World Bank, Westminster Foundation for Democracy and European.
· 2003-2015, he gained the support and confidence of economic actors and was elected for 4 consecutive terms President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services.
· 2009-2011, he was elected as the First Vice-President of the Arab Labor Organization, ALO, and in 2010 he was honored as Distinguished Arab Manager
· 2018, H.E. Chafik RACHADI was elected as President of the Francophonie Council in Korea
· June 2022 – October 2024, H.E. Chafik RACHADI became the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps
· October 2022, H.E. Chafik RACHADI was elected as Vice-President of Korea-Arab Society
· September 2024, H.E. Chafik RACHADI became the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and the Dean of African Group of Ambassadors (AGA)
· He obtained a BA in Business Administration from Montreal (Canada), an International Management degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (France), a certificate of course of Africa and Globalization from Sciences Po (France), a Master’s degree in Finance and Management Control from Orleans (France). Finally, he received a Doctorate in Private Law under the theme: Industrial property in the light of the jurisprudence in comparative law, from Perpignan University in France.
· He is married and a father of four children.
