TAMARI Masahito has been Director General of Executive Office of the Governor of Okinawa Prefectural Government (OPG) since April 2023. He joined OPG in April 1989. Prior to the current position, Mr. Tamari served as Deputy Director General in charge of Military Base Affairs from April 2021 to March 2023, Councilor concurrently serving as Director of Military Base Affairs Division from April 2019 to March 2021 and Director of Secretarial Division from April 2016 to March 2019 among other positions within OPG.
